I am a São Paulo based traveler, consultant and entrepreneur.
I am a passionate traveler that has visited over 35 countries. My traveling obsession is to avoid the mass and getting where nobody gets to. I love exploring new places, meeting the locals, enjoying pristine nature and practicing adventure sports. Excellent food and a charming small hotel give the final touch to wonderful journeys.
I want to encourage people to travel. The best way to learn about life in different countries is to go there, see for yourself and talk to people from that country. The view from the inside is often quite different to what you see from the outside. Traveling is the best tool to erase prejudice.
After graduating from Industrial Engineering from ICAI in Spain I began my career in strategy consulting. A few years later, I got my inspiration for Zuvy while studying my MBA at Haas, University of California, Berkeley.
While at Berkeley, I learned how sustainable and responsible tourism is a powerful tool for development. I now work to spread the message of our responsibility as travelers in making a positive impact at destinations.
With the blog I aim to increase awareness about different cultures and destinations around the globe. I will be blogging about the aspects that make cultures and countries unique such as food, clothing, music, language, etc. I will also be sharing my opinions and inviting and interviewing thought leaders of the responsible tourism industry, photographers, fellow adventurers and travelers, entrepreneurs, etc. My above all pretension is to make it honest.

Soy viajera, consultora y emprendedora basada en Sao Paulo.
Una viajera apasionada que ha visitado más de 35 países. Mi obsesión viajera es evitar las masas y llegar a donde nadie llega, a lo auténtico. Me encanta explorar nuevos lugares, conocer a los locales, disfrutar de la naturaleza virgen y vivir un poco de aventura y riesgo. Excelente comida y un pequeño hotel con encanto le dan el toque final a viajes inolvidables.
Quiero animar a la gente a viajar. La mejor manera de aprender sobre la vida en los distintos países es montarte en un avión y verlo tu mismo, hablar con la gente de ese país y observar. Lo que se ve desde dentro es a menudo bastante diferente a lo que se ve (o nos hacen ver) desde fuera. Viajar es la mejor herramienta para eliminar prejuicios.
Después de estudiar Ingeniería Industrial en ICAI, en España, comencé mi carrera en consultoría estratégica. Unos años más tarde, me llegó la inspiración para crear Zuvy mientras estudiaba mi MBA en Haas, Universidad de California, Berkeley.
Durante el periodo en Berkeley, aprendí cómo el turismo sostenible y responsable es una herramienta poderosa para el desarrollo. Desde mi trabajo en Zuvy tengo el objetivo de difundir el mensaje de nuestra responsabilidad como viajeros en impactar positivamente en los destinos que visitamos.
Con el blog me propongo aumentar el conocimiento sobre las diferentes culturas y destinos en todo el mundo. Es un blog sobre los aspectos que hacen que las culturas y países sean únicos: comida, moda, música, lenguaje, etc. También voy a compartir mis opiniones e invitar y entrevistar a líderes de opinión de la industria del turismo responsable, fotógrafos, compañeros de aventuras y viajeros, emprendedores, etc. Mi pretensión es, por encima de todo, que sea honesto.
